During the 1960s Ignazio Gardella engaged in many plans on large hotels in Rome and Venice.
At the Hotel Excelsior, in the lagoon city, took shape this family of comfortable leather covered armchairs for their American Bar. They will then be named `LIDO`, like the strip of sandy beach where the elegant structure stands.
