White onyx was chosen by the two designers for its unique diffusing properties and enchanting texture. Similar to a stream, it is sometimes bubbling, sometimes flowing and always translucent. Onyx stone is also said to bring confidence and protection. The geometric shape of the Onyx diffuser is softened by elliptical circles, as if polished by slow marine erosion or centuries-old footsteps on a church square. Time is suspended, like sea spray or memories. The chandelier is part of the EMBRUN collection created by Etienne Gounot and Eric Jähnke, the co-founders of Ozone.
